On March 24th, 2009, we spoke Truth to Power by paying for an advertisement near the Hoboken Path Station telling Hobokenites how we could help them move out of their ultra high property tax regime. Within hours, Hoboken's Mayor Roberts, angered by the factual consequences of his administration's own fiscal policy, forced the legal and truthful sign to be taken down.
